How do I pay for a BackHug Session?

Learn about the various payment methods available for booking BackHug sessions at shared locations.

BackHug sessions in shared locations may require users to pay based on the duration they are booking. To make this process as convenient and flexible as possible, we offer multiple payment methods.

Payment Options: 

  1. Credit/Debit Cards

Recurring and One-Off minutes:

To save money on your BackHug sessions, you can purchase recurring and one-off minutes.

  • Recurring minutes automatically top up on a regular schedule (for example, 40 minutes a week). These minutes expire at the end of each billing cycle.
  • One-Off minutes never expire until you use them.

Where to buy them:

  • BackHug minutes can be purchased directly from your BackHug location. In this case, staff will add the package or plan to your account for you.

  • Some locations may allow you to purchase minutes directly in the BackHug user app using card payment.

    • If this option is not enabled, you’ll still see the available minutes options in the app, but when you try to buy, a pop-up will let you know to speak with your location staff instead.

 

Important: BackHug minutes are always location-specific, meaning you can only use them at the BackHug location where you purchased them.

Pay Per Session

If you prefer, you can also pay for your BackHug sessions based on the duration you are booking. This option allows for flexibility without committing to a package or plan.

Managing Payment Methods

Manage your payment methods in the BackHug User App: 

  1. From the home screen, click on "More."
  2. Navigate to "Payment Method" settings to add or update your preferred payment options.
