How do I book, and check-in for, a BackHug Session?

 

 

Step 1: 

- Download the “BackHug” app.

 

Step 2: 

- Create a user profile by registering for an account on the BackHug app.

 

Step 3: 

- Go to your email, find our email, and click “confirm registration”.

 

Step 4: 

- Log into the BackHug app and switch to the Gyms/Clinics/Offices

Follow the assessment in order for the app to create a personalised treatment program for your specific needs.

Booking a session on the BackHug: 

 

Step 1: 

- From this screen you'll be able to view the calendar and book a session. Note: please make sure you're in Clinics / Gyms / Offices mode in the top-right corner.

Step 2: 

- Once you've clicked "BOOK NOW", this screen will come up. Here, you'll select whether you'd like to book a session in advance, or use the BackHug instantly. Note: these options are dependent on how the location has been set up. If you're in an Instant Start Only (Non-Bookable) location, you won't be able to make a booking in advance.

Step 3: 

- Click on the location's name that you're in.

Step 4: 

- Choose the duration of the session. Note: longer durations increase treatment benefits and help relaxation.

- Select the device and the date and time when you'd like to receive your session.

- Click "Book" on the bottom of the screen and you're all set!

How to "Check-In" ahead of your first BackHug session: 

 

When you “check-in” on the BackHug App that means you start your BackHug session on the device on which you booked your session. 


1. Prepare to Check-In:

   - You can check-in up to 9 minutes before your booking slot, provided the device is not in use by another user.
Please arrive on time, the session will stop either after the full session duration or 2 minutes before the end of your booking slot, whichever comes earlier

2. Open the App: 

   - Open the BackHug app on your smartphone.

4. Ensure Bluetooth is On:

   - Make sure Bluetooth is switched on when using your mobile phone.

5. Check-In:

   - Go to the home screen or the upcoming booking tab to check-in for your session.
   - Use the check-in button to start your session.

 

Important: Make sure you are physically close to the device

Timing Guidelines: 


Early Check-In:

  - You can check-in up to 9 minutes before your booking slot starts.
  
Late Check-In:

  - Check-in remains open until 10 minutes before the end of your booking slot. For example, if your slot is from 10:00-10:30 am, you can check-in as late as 10:20 am.

Important Notes: 

- Your BackHug session will stop either after the full session duration or 2 minutes before the end of your booking slot, whichever comes earlier. This ensures you have enough time to sit up, get off the device, and collect your belongings before the next person’s turn.

- If you check-in too late, you may not receive the full session time. These guidelines help ensure that all users can enjoy BackHug conveniently and comfortably in a shared location.
